Val Thorens - Geneva
You have to confirm the return journey 48 hours beforehand, at the bus station in place des Arolles, and when you do, they confirm the exact departure time. (It may be a minibus or taxi that takes you as far as Moutiers, depending on how many people there are). The times from Moutiers, and arriving at Geneva, are shown in the table below. (From these, you can guess the approximate departure times from Val Thorens).

Ben's Bus
Ben's Bus also run buses from Geneva to Val Thorens, on Saturdays from 8th December 2012 to 20th April 2013, and on Sundays from 23rd December 2012 to 7th April 2013.
Buses from Lyon airport
There are buses from Lyon St Exupery airport to Val Thorens,
on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. They start on
15th December 2012, and run to 1st April 2013.
Lyon - Val Thorens
The table below shows the departure times. The arrival times are not provided by the bus company, but it generally takes 2 hours to Moutiers (where you may have to change buses), plus a further 1h15 to Val Thorens.

Buses from Chambéry airport
Scheduled buses run from Chambéry airport to Val Thorens, on Saturdays and Sundays from 22nd December 2012 to 21st April 2013.

Buses from Grenoble airport
There will be a weekend service from Grenoble airport to Val Thorens, from 8th December 2012 to 13th April 2013, run by Agbus and Ben's Bus. It'll go to Val Thorens on Saturdays, and only as far as Moutiers on Sundays.
Price £46 adult single, £79.50 adult return.
